Cat. 6 – Fast/Slow Sequences
Coala has detected sudden sequences of faster or slower beats.
Coala indicates signs of fast and slow rhythms that could be VT Tachy-Brady Syndrome or Sick Sinus Syndrome. Sick Sinus Syndrom is a disease characterized by abnormal sinus node functioning with resultant bradycardia and cardiac insufficiency.
In tachy-brady syndrome the heart sometimes beats too quickly (tachy) and sometimes beats too slowly (brady). This abnormal heart rhythm problem is often seen in people who have been diagnosed with AFIB. It can occur when the heart’s natural pacemaker is damaged.
